Wholesale Pricing for Licensed Professionals

Online marketplace fighting
for eye doctors,
instead of against them

We rank right beside the other online retailers when your patient searches for their brand. The difference is what happens after the click. If they buy from us, the order goes to the doctor who wrote the prescription.

  • Your prescription, your patient, your sale.
  • Filled on your own ABB account at your own wholesale cost.
  • Rebates and growth goals keep counting.
  • Free for any licensed doctor or office with an NPI. Nothing to buy, nothing to change.

Same patient,
two very different outcomes

A lens order today

The Sale Leaves with a Stranger

  • You never find out your patient reordered
  • Nothing about the order comes back to your office
  • No record of what your patient actually received
  • The expertise was yours. The revenue was not.
Once you have joined

The Sale Stays with the Prescriber

  • Matched to you from the prescription itself
  • Authorized ABB product on your own account
  • Your practice is the seller, your name on the statement
  • Your expertise and the revenue in one place.

Legitimate or not,
none of them credit you

The large online retailers are real businesses running real distribution. We are not going to pretend otherwise. A small number of sellers are the reason the risks below are documented at all. What none of them do, legitimate or not, is put the prescribing doctor in the sale.

Where the Product Came From1

Authorized distribution only. ABB fills every order on your account, at your own wholesale cost, drop shipped to the patient. Rebates and growth goals accrue as usual.

Getting Exactly What You Wrote2

What you prescribed is what ships. No private label swaps, no adjacent base curves. If we cannot supply it exactly, we do not fill it.

Verification That Reaches You2

Verified through Visibly, a leader in eyecare compliance, and logged on every order. Because the prescription is matched to you, the request reaches your office.

Whose Name Is on the Sale

Your practice is the seller of record, with your name on the patient's statement. Not ours.

Your Office Is Not Undercut

MSRP across the catalog. We never see your wholesale cost and never price below your office.

Your Chart Stays Yours

A name, an address, an email and the products. Never the medical record.

Contacts, drops and supplements
in one order

Almost every contact lens site sells contact lenses and nothing else. Here the lenses, the rewetting drops, the vitamins and the lens care go in one order. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

Practices have sent patients to us for drops and supplements since 2019. Now their contact lenses are here too.

The prescription decides
where the order goes

No link to share. No code to remember. Nothing for your front desk to do.

1. Patient Uploads the Prescription

Smart Order reads it automatically, or they enter it manually.

2. We Match the Prescriber

The prescription details identify you. Nothing depends on the patient naming you.

3. Visibly Verifies with Your Office

Correct it or deny it and nothing ships.

If you have joined

The Order Is Yours

Filled on your ABB account against your prescription, your practice as the seller, keeping the great majority of the sale. You did nothing beyond the exam.

If you have not joined

We Fill It Properly, Then Call You

The patient still gets verified, authorized product on our account. Then we offer you the free signup so the next one is yours.

The last step,
not the first

Nothing here replaces what your office already does.

Continue Selling Annual Supplies in the Office

That is still the best outcome for the practice and for the patient, and it is what your staff should be doing at every exam. We would rather you close it there.

Continue Using the Software That Captures Sales

DrContactLens, Marlo, OTTO, whatever already works for you. Keep running it. We sit on top of it at no cost and we do not ask you to switch.

Add VisionRescue.com to Catch the Rest, Free

The patient who said yes and never ordered. The one who reorders online at eleven at night. That order used to be gone. Now it comes back to you.

The offices seeing the most orders
put us on the prescription

Every patient leaves with a copy of their prescription, because the rule requires it. The practices getting the most out of this add one line to that copy: buy in our office, or online at visionrescue.com.

  • One line, added once to the template, so it rides on every prescription you write.
  • Works however you send it. Emailed, texted or printed.
  • No tracking code and no special link. We read the prescriber off the prescription itself.
  • Nothing else changes. Patients who would rather buy in the office still do.

Check your state board's rules on disclosing a financial interest in a seller you recommend before you add it. Ask and we will send suggested wording.

Before you join

Is it really free?
Yes. No signup, monthly or per order fee, no minimum, no purchase requirement. Our only revenue is a flat ten percent on a dispensing order, with card processing inside it. Turn it off from your settings any day.
Who is eligible?
Any optometrist or ophthalmologist with an NPI and an active license writing prescriptions in the United States. Private practice, retail chain, big box or hospital, all the same terms, and you can connect as a group practice, an individual practice or an associate. The only requirement is an ABB Optical account for lenses to ship from, and a free one takes minutes at abboptical.com.
Do I have to buy anything or send you patients?
Neither. Lens dispensing is separate from wholesale, and we would rather you did not change what already works in the office. This exists for the patient who does not come back and shops online instead.
Will this cannibalise my in office sales?
It should not, and we would rather it did not. Sell the annual supply in the office first, keep whatever leak prevention software you already run, and let us catch what still gets away. We are the last step in that sequence, not a replacement for the first two.
Why join if I will not promote it?
Patients do not need your help finding an online seller. The only question is whether the one they land on verifies with you, sources authorized product, and credits the order to your practice. Joining is how that answer becomes yes.
How do you know I wrote the prescription?
Your patient uploads the prescription itself, through Smart Order or manually, and our software matches it to you from the details. No link, no code, nothing for the patient to remember.
What if the prescription is expired or does not check out?
Verification runs through Visibly, which sends the request to you by the automated methods the FTC Contact Lens Rule prescribes and logs every one. Correct the prescription or deny it and the order does not fill. To be straight with you: the rule also permits a seller to fill an order when no one responds inside eight business hours, and like every compliant seller we operate under that rule. What we can control is that the request reaches the right office. Because the prescription is matched to the doctor who wrote it, verification goes to you rather than to an old fax number, and your office is never asked to chase paperwork for us.
Do I choose the brands or set the prices?
No to both, and the distinction matters. Retail is MSRP across the catalog and practices cannot change it, because one catalog at one price is what lets a patient comparing sellers find their exact brand. What stays entirely yours is your wholesale cost with ABB, which we never see.
Do my rebates and growth goals still count?
Yes. Because every order is an ABB order on your own account, your manufacturer rebates, growth goals and tier commitments all count on volume processed through visionrescue.com exactly as they would on any other ABB order. Patient rebates stay between your patient and the manufacturer, and the confirmation carries what they need to file. You remain the prescriber and still owe each patient a copy of their prescription under the FTC rule.
When do I get the money?
Into your own Stripe account, then to your bank on Stripe's normal schedule, days rather than weeks. None of it is held by us. Because ABB invoices on terms, funds are typically in hand ahead of that bill.
Can my patients use HSA or FSA?
Yes. Checkout runs on Stripe and accepts HSA and FSA cards, so your patient can spend those dollars on lenses and the rest of their routine in one place. Final eligibility is always down to the patient's plan administrator.
What happens to my existing referral code?
Unchanged on the dry eye and OTC catalog, where we are the seller and you earn commission. Lens orders run on the dispensing terms instead, because those fill on your ABB account.
