How It Works

1. Seat the lens. Place the scleral or hybrid lens bowl-up in the lens holder and fill it with preservative-free saline.
2. Switch on the LED. The light illuminates the lens from beneath so the patient can see and align with its center.
3. Position over the lens. Seated, the patient leans forward until the eye is directly above and centered on the lens.
4. Hold both eyelids open. With the stand supporting the lens, both hands are free to hold the upper and lower lids apart.
5. Lower onto the lens. The patient lowers the eye onto the lens until it seats, then blinks to release.
