Single-use osmolarity test cards for the ScoutPro Osmolarity System. Each card uses microfluidic, lab-on-a-chip technology to collect a tiny tear sample and support a quantitative osmolarity reading on the ScoutPro pen.
Details
- 42 single-use cards per pack.
- One test per card. Most practices test both eyes, which uses two cards per patient.
- Microfluidic lab-on-a-chip design collects a nanoliter-volume sample, so you can test even the driest patients.
- TearLab compatible. Interchangeable with the first-generation TearLab Osmolarity System.
- For use with the ScoutPro Osmolarity System (sold separately).
Handling
Collect the sample before drops, anesthetic, dilating drops, staining, or a slit lamp exam, since each can change the reading. Do not collect or store tear samples for testing at a later time.
Reimbursement and requirements
Tear osmolarity testing is CLIA waived and reimbursable under CPT 83861, subject to payer coverage. Each testing site must hold a CLIA Certificate of Waiver before testing.

Return unopened products in original packaging within 30 days for Vision Rescue Pro store credit. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
