The Economics,
Line By Line

Ninety percent of every dispensing order goes to your practice. This page shows where the other 10% goes, what ABB bills separately, when funds arrive, and how taxes, refunds, and disputes are handled.

$0 signup · $0 monthly · $0 minimum · Vision Rescue participates only when it captures a dispensing order

One payment splitting into a wide green stream to a bank and a narrow navy stream to a search icon, with a separate dashed line from a shipping box to an invoice

90% goes to your Stripe account. Vision Rescue retains 10% for processing and marketing. ABB bills your practice separately for the lenses.

Every dispensing order, split at checkout

90% your practice 10%
90 percent to youInto your own Stripe account at the moment the patient pays. Never held by us, never routed through us, out to your bank on Stripe’s normal schedule.
10 percent back into marketingCard processing takes roughly three points of it. The rest goes straight back out into nationwide search marketing.

There is no second charge anywhere. No signup fee, no monthly fee, no listing fee and no minimum. The ten percent above is the whole of it.

Your ABB Invoice Is
A Separate Conversation

We are not in the middle of it and we cannot see it.

A timeline with a filled marker where the payout lands and a later hollow marker where the invoice comes due

For most practices the money from the sale is in the bank before the invoice for it comes due.

Your Cost Is Your Cost

Every dispensing order goes on your own ABB account at the wholesale price you negotiated. Whatever you have built with them over the years carries straight through.

We Never See The Number

We never receive your wholesale pricing and could not price against it. Lenses are listed at manufacturer suggested retail rather than at a discount.

Terms Usually Work In Your Favor

ABB invoices on terms while Stripe pays out in days. For most practices the money from the sale is in the bank before the invoice for it comes due.

Vision Rescue lists contact lenses at manufacturer suggested retail pricing rather than using discount pricing to compete with the prescribing practice. ABB is the only fulfillment connection live today. Additional distributors and manufacturer direct fulfillment are in the works, and the arithmetic on this page does not depend on which one fills the order.

What Actually Lands
In The Practice

The honest arithmetic, with nothing hidden in a footnote.

The Calculation

  • Patient pays MSRP for the box
  • Ninety percent of that settles into your Stripe account
  • ABB bills you your negotiated wholesale cost
  • What is left is your margin, and it is yours alone

The spread depends entirely on your ABB pricing, which is why we will not print a margin figure here and pretend it applies to every practice.

What Does Not Come Out Of It

  • No platform fee beyond the ten percent
  • No card processing on top, it is already inside the ten
  • No fulfillment work on your side, because ABB drop ships to the patient
  • No inventory, no carrying cost, no box ever in your office

Want To See Exactly How The Split Works?

That is the one question this page cannot answer, because the answer is your own ABB cost and we never see it. Take fifteen minutes with our team and we will walk you through exactly how the ninety ten works, so you can run it against your own cost yourself. Nothing is activated on a call. Being The Seller
Cuts Both Ways

The upside is the margin. The rest of it belongs to you too, and you should know that before you sign.

What You Gain

  • Ninety percent of every lens sale written against your prescriptions
  • Your practice named as the seller on the patient’s statement
  • Eligible manufacturer rebates, volume programs and growth goals may continue to accrue where applicable, because the order runs through your ABB account
  • Money into your own Stripe account, never held by a third party

What You Carry

  • Sales tax and reporting on those sales are yours
  • Refunds and chargebacks come out of your Stripe balance
  • You remain the prescriber, and still owe each patient a copy of their prescription under the FTC rule
  • You do not set retail price; the catalog is MSRP so a patient comparing sellers finds their exact brand

None of this is tax or legal advice. Your accountant should see the addendum before you sign it.

Dry Eye And OTC
Work The Opposite Way

Worth being precise about, because the two sit side by side in the same cart.

The Vision Rescue slim display in a practice optical area, stocked with drops and supplements, while a patient is served at the counter

The display carries the OTC catalog, where Vision Rescue is the seller and your practice earns a referral commission. Contact lenses run on the dispensing terms instead.

OTC Products

Vision Rescue is the seller

  • We hold the inventory and ship from Florida
  • We collect and remit the sales tax
  • We handle the returns and the disputes
  • You earn a referral commission, unchanged from whatever you run today

Contact Lenses, Once You Activate

Your practice is the seller

  • Filled on your ABB account against your prescription
  • Your name on the patient’s statement
  • Sales tax and reporting on those sales are yours
  • Ninety percent to your Stripe account on every order

An existing referral code keeps working exactly as it does now on the dry eye and OTC catalog. Lens orders run on the dispensing terms instead, because those fill on your ABB account.

Run It On Your Own Numbers

The terms are identical for every practice. The volume is not.

See Your Own Figures Once You Activate

Inside: orders your patients have already placed on Vision Rescue, a worked margin example against your own lens mix, and the provider dashboard as your office would see it. Creating the account costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Eligible US Optometrists
And Ophthalmologists Can Activate

Requires an active US license, an NPI and an ABB Optical account for fulfillment. Nothing changes in the office.
