Daily Practice

About Daily Practice

Daily Practice was founded by Dr. Ashley Brissette, an ophthalmologist, and the line is built for the skin around the eyes rather than for the face in general. The formulas are made without artificial fragrance, parabens, phthalates and sulfates, which is the main reason the brand comes up for people whose eyes react to regular skincare.

What you will find

• Nourishing Makeup Melting Balm, 70 g, for taking off eye makeup.
• Purifying Foam Cleanser, 80 mL, for eyelids and lashes.
• Firm and Restore Eye Cream, 15 mL.
• Lash Enhancing Serum, 4 mL, formulated with biomimetic peptides and made without prostaglandins.
• Brighten and Hydrate Eye Patches, five pairs to a pack.
• A three step bundle pairing makeup removal, cleansing and hydration.

How to choose

Start with the step you are missing. If you wear eye makeup, the balm and the foam cleanser are the pair most people begin with, since one lifts makeup and the other cleans the lid and lash line afterward. The eye cream is the hydration step and comes last. The patches are occasional rather than daily, and the lash serum runs on its own track.

The three step bundle is the simpler route if you are starting from scratch and want the steps to work together. If you already have a lid cleanser you like, a single product such as the eye cream or the balm slots into what you have.

Who it suits

The appeal here is a short ingredient list on products meant for a part of the face where a lot of skincare is not designed to go. That makes the range worth a look for contact lens wearers, for anyone doing daily lid hygiene, and for people who have found fragranced products uncomfortable. If you are managing an ongoing lid or eye condition, check with your eye care professional before changing a routine.
