How to choose

Consistency is the first fork in the road. Thin drops spread quickly and leave vision clear, which is what most people want during a working day. Gels are heavier and can blur briefly after they go in, so they tend to be kept for evenings and overnight.

Preservatives are the second. Blink Boost is labeled preservative free and still comes in a multi dose bottle rather than single use vials, which is worth knowing if you reach for drops several times a day.

Contact lens wearers have their own two options here. Blink Contacts and Blink-N-Clean are made for use with lenses rather than around them.
