OcuSci was founded by David McMahon, an integrative nutritionist, and the catalog splits neatly along those lines: nutrition on one side, hardware on the other. It is one of the few brands we stock that covers both a device and a supplement shelf.

What you will find

• Masks. A microwavable heat mask with no cover, a premium heat and cold mask with HydroBlock and a washable antimicrobial cover, and the E Compress USB mask with a washable cover and three temperature settings.
• A device. The MGrx all in one, combining heat, debridement and expression in a single unit.
• Lid care. UltraLid Pro eyelid and lash wash.
• Supplements. Ultra Omega Support, 180 count for two months. Ultra Macular, an AREDS2 based multivitamin, 120 count for 60 days. Dry Eye Complete with omega and lutein, 60 count.

How to choose

Masks come down to how you like to heat them. A microwavable mask needs nothing plugged in and is the easier one to take away with you, but it cools as you go. The USB mask holds a set temperature and lets you pick between three of them, at the cost of needing a port nearby. The premium mask is the one to look at if you want a cold option too, and it is the only one here with an antimicrobial washable cover.

On the supplement side, Ultra Omega Support and Dry Eye Complete cover omega intake, with lutein added in the latter. Ultra Macular is the AREDS2 based option and the one most likely to come up if your eye doctor has discussed macular nutrition with you.

The MGrx is the most involved item in the range and worth discussing with your eye care professional before ordering.
