Doctor questions about patient kits
Who builds the kits?
Usually the doctor, so each bundle reflects the practice's clinical preferences. Staff then load and send it.
Can a kit be changed for one patient?
Yes. Load a saved bundle, then add or remove individual products before sending.
Do I have to start from scratch?
No. RescueLink includes default bundles for common conditions that you can use or adapt.
Can the patient buy in the office instead?
Yes. If the patient buys from your shelf, you can schedule a reorder reminder for later.
What does the practice earn?
A 15% participation credit on eligible OTC orders placed on VisionRescue.com through your practice link. Contact lenses and Rx products are excluded.
Does RescueLink need my patient records?
No. It has no connection to your patient database and does not store protected health information.
