Macular Support is a dietary supplement in softgel form. The bottle contains 90 softgels and the dose is one softgel daily, so a bottle is a 90 day supply. It contains the three macular carotenoids lutein, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin. It was formulated by Dr. Brad LaVallie and is made in the USA in a GMP certified facility.
This is a daily carotenoid supplement, one softgel a day, so the 90 softgel bottle covers three months of that routine. People choose a three carotenoid product when they want meso-zeaxanthin in the formula rather than the lutein and zeaxanthin pairing on its own. This one also carries astaxanthin, a fourth carotenoid that a three carotenoid formula does not usually include.

- Lutein, 10 mg per softgel One of the three carotenoids found in macular pigment, supplied here from marigold flower extract.
- Meso-Zeaxanthin, 10 mg per softgel The second macular pigment carotenoid, also from marigold flower extract.
- Zeaxanthin, 3 mg per softgel The third macular pigment carotenoid, from the same marigold source.
- Natural astaxanthin, 2 mg per softgel A fourth carotenoid, from outside the macular pigment group, listed alongside the other three.
