Indications and Usage
HEALON 5 PRO® is a viscoadaptive ophthalmic viscoelastic device intended for use during anterior segment ophthalmic surgery, including cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation. It helps maintain anterior chamber depth, create and maintain surgical space, and protect corneal endothelial cells during surgical manipulation.
Dosage and Administration
For use by qualified ophthalmic surgeons during anterior segment procedures. Administer intraocularly according to the surgical technique and the manufacturer's instructions for use.
Warnings and Precautions
For intraocular surgical use by qualified ophthalmic professionals.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and supplied cannula assembly.
Remove the viscoelastic material as directed at the conclusion of the procedure to help minimize postoperative intraocular pressure elevation.
Monitor intraocular pressure postoperatively as clinically indicated.
