Wholesale Pricing for Licensed Professionals

← Back to the dispensing overview

The economics,
line by line

Ninety percent of every dispensing order goes to your practice. This page is the rest of the sentence: where the other ten goes, what ABB bills you separately, when the money actually lands, and who carries the tax and the disputes.

Every dispensing order, split at checkout

90% your practice 10%
90 percent to youInto your own Stripe account at the moment the patient pays. Never held by us, never routed through us, out to your bank on Stripe’s normal schedule.
10 percent back into marketingCard processing takes roughly three points of it. The rest goes straight back out into nationwide search marketing.

There is no second fee anywhere. No signup, no monthly, no per order, no listing fee, no minimum.

Your ABB invoice
is a separate conversation

We are not in the middle of it and we cannot see it.

Your Cost Is Your Cost

Every dispensing order is placed on your own ABB Optical account at the wholesale price you negotiated with ABB. Whatever you have built with them over the years carries straight through.

We Never See the Number

The platform does not receive your wholesale pricing and could not price against it if it wanted to. Retail is MSRP across the catalog, which is why your office is never undercut.

Terms Usually Work in Your Favor

ABB invoices on terms while Stripe pays out in days. For most practices the money from the sale is in the bank before the invoice for it comes due.

What actually lands
in the practice

The honest arithmetic, with nothing hidden in a footnote.

The Calculation

  • Patient pays MSRP for the box
  • Ninety percent of that settles into your Stripe account
  • ABB bills you your negotiated wholesale cost
  • What is left is your margin, and it is yours alone

The spread depends entirely on your ABB pricing, which is why we will not print a margin figure here and pretend it applies to every practice.

What Does Not Come Out of It

  • No platform fee beyond the ten percent
  • No card processing on top, it is already inside the ten
  • No shipping cost to you, ABB drop ships to the patient
  • No inventory, no carrying cost, no box ever in your office

Being the seller
cuts both ways

The upside is the margin. The rest of it belongs to you too, and you should know that before you sign.

What You Gain

  • The great majority of every lens sale written against your prescriptions
  • Your practice named as the seller on the patient’s statement
  • Manufacturer rebates, growth goals and tier commitments accruing on the volume, because it is ABB volume on your account
  • Money into your own Stripe account, never held by a third party

What You Carry

  • Sales tax and reporting on those sales are yours
  • Refunds and chargebacks come out of your Stripe balance
  • You remain the prescriber, and still owe each patient a copy of their prescription under the FTC rule
  • You do not set retail price; the catalog is MSRP so a patient comparing sellers finds their exact brand

None of this is tax or legal advice. Your accountant should see the addendum before you sign it.

Dry eye and OTC
work the opposite way

Worth being precise about, because the two sit side by side in the same cart.

OTC Products

Vision Rescue is the seller

  • We hold the inventory and ship from Florida
  • We collect and remit the sales tax
  • We handle the returns and the disputes
  • You earn a referral commission, unchanged from whatever you run today

Contact Lenses, Once You Partner

Your practice is the seller

  • Filled on your ABB account against your prescription
  • Your name on the patient’s statement
  • Sales tax and reporting on those sales are yours
  • Ninety percent to your Stripe account on every order

An existing referral code keeps working exactly as it does now on the dry eye and OTC catalog. Lens orders run on the dispensing terms instead, because those fill on your ABB account.

Run it on your own numbers

The terms are identical for every practice. The volume is not.

Your Own Figures Are Behind a Free Account

Inside: orders your patients have already placed on Vision Rescue, a worked margin example against your own lens mix, and the provider dashboard as your office would see it.
