Setup, and what
you are signing

Four steps, once, in under ten minutes. This page is what each one asks for and why, so nothing in the process is a surprise. The walkthrough videos and the full addendum text sit behind a free account, because both are specific to your practice.

The four steps

Most offices do all of this in one sitting and never touch it again.

Step one

Sign the Dispensing Addendum

An addendum to the standard account terms, covering the dispensing arrangement specifically: that your practice is the seller of record on lens orders, how the ninety ten split works, and where tax, refunds and disputes sit. It is short, and it is worth reading rather than skimming.

You can read the whole text before signing anything. It is behind the account gate below because it is the version bound to your practice.

Step two

Connect Stripe

Stripe Connect onboarding, run by Stripe rather than by us. They will ask for the business details any payment processor asks for so they can pay out to your bank. We never see or hold those credentials, and we never hold the money.

If your practice already runs Stripe, this is a connection rather than a new account.

Step three

Confirm Your ABB Account

Lens orders fill on your own ABB Optical account at your own negotiated cost, so the platform needs to know which account is yours. For most practices the connection is already built on our side and this step is confirming it rather than building it.

No ABB account yet? It is free and takes minutes. Open one at abboptical.com →

Step four

Choose Who Gets Notified

Verification requests and order notifications need to reach a person. You decide who: the doctor, the optical manager, a shared inbox, or several. This is the step that decides whether your office ever has to think about an order again.

Changeable any time from your settings, along with turning the whole thing off.

The walkthrough videos

A short video for each of the four steps, start to finish, including the ABB connection.

Videos and the Addendum Are Behind a Free Account

Inside: a short video walking through each of the four steps, the full dispensing addendum to read before you sign, and your ABB connection waiting to be switched on. Registering costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

all of it
