Indications and Usage
Indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Dosage and Administration
One drop in the affected eye(s) three times daily, approximately 8 hours apart. If more than one topical ophthalmic product is used, administer the products at least 5 minutes apart.
Contraindications
- Neonates and infants (pediatric patients younger than 2 years old)
- Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any component of this medication
Warnings and Precautions
- May potentiate vascular insufficiency; use with caution in patients with depression, cerebral or coronary insufficiency, Raynaud's phenomenon, orthostatic hypotension, or thromboangiitis obliterans.
- Use with caution in patients with severe cardiovascular disease.
- May cause fatigue and/or drowsiness; caution patients engaging in hazardous activities.
- Avoid touching the dispenser tip to the eye or surrounding structures to prevent contamination and serious eye damage.
